The delicate flecked beauty of Aquarius recalls the patterning of fine-chip Terrazzo, polished back to expose its mosaic of exposed aggregate. The Mediterranean is awash with Terrazzo in all its variously scaled and colourful configurations and even today enjoys a resurgence in popularity.
